My Hero Academia season 6 episode 24 was a rollercoaster of emotions that left fans on the edge of their seats. Ochaco stole the show with her powerful speech, capturing everyone’s attention and hearts. It was clear that Deku return to U.A. High School was not welcomed by all, but someone had to step up and reassure the civilians. And boy, did Ochaco do just that.

The episode began with a flashback of Principal Nezu explaining the newly improved U.A. Barrier, which had become even more powerful with his personal touch. The U.A. school was no longer just a barrier; it could now move and had underground emergency shelters, fortified with 3,000 layers of reinforced plates. If anything went wrong, the intercepting mechanism would activate, making each plate movable and allowing the shelters to escape. With this safety guarantee, Principal Nezu declared that Class 1-A should bring Deku back.

However, things did not go as smoothly as they had hoped. Best Present Mike faced an angry and agitated audience, who blamed the Heroes for their failure and were not happy about Deku’s return. Best Jeanist tried to explain that they had used Deku to try to draw the opponents out, but it had not worked, and now they needed to cooperate and let Deku return. This only made the crowd angrier, thinking that the refugees were being blamed for the Heroes’ failure.

Thankfully, Ochaco stepped up and delivered a powerful speech that calmed the refugees. She explained that Deku had left the school to keep everyone safe and that his classmates had brought him back. She acknowledged that the villains wanted his power since it was the only thing that could stop them, but he had been through so much while on the outside. Ochaco asked everyone to take a closer look at his current state, reminding them that while special powers existed, there was no such thing as a special individual. She encouraged the civilians to offer Deku their strength since he was burdened by his powers as a high school student. As Deku fell to the ground and sobbed, a woman he had protected in the past and Kota Izumi rushed over to comfort him.

Ochaco’s speech sparked contemplation in the refugees, and a man addressed the crowd, saying that Deku was only there for a short time. He emphasized that the civilians must no longer be bystanders or push their heroes away. A boy asked Deku if staying at U.A. would restore their lives, and Deku confidently replied that he would restore their lives now that everyone was there with him.

Meanwhile, Endeavor thought that they had accomplished little and had only shifted the load to Deku, but Hawks disagreed. He pointed out how everyone was connected at U.A. in the same way that One For All was a power that united people’s hearts.

As the episode drew to a close, Nezu called Aizawa to hear about his students’ accomplishments and learned that he was missing both his right eye and his right leg. Kurogiri and the other captured Nomu had been brought to Central Hospital, but they had not yet been able to contact Aizawa. Nezu informed Himiko that they had determined how much blood she could absorb and how long her transformation would last. And to top it all off, All Might was seen confronting the Hero-hating groups, with Stain following closely behind.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 24 was an emotional rollercoaster that gave a spotlight to some forgotten characters and did wonders for the main one, Deku. It was an episode that left fans eagerly anticipating the next installment.
