Hold on tight, Tokyo Revengers fans! Another episode of this heart-racing anime has just dropped, and we're here to give you the lowdown on all the juicy details.
My Hero Academia season 6 episode 22, “Friend”, was an absolute heart-wrencher that had viewers on the edge of their seats. Deku’s decision to distance himself from his loved ones in order to keep them safe from All For One was a shocker, but what really hit home was his decision to leave U.A. High School altogether.
Lady Nagant’s bombshell revelation about her orders to deliver Deku to a mansion in Haibori Woods within the next two months, and the fact that All For One had contacted other assassins, only added to the nail-biting suspense. But it wasn’t until the Heroes stumbled upon the former Creature Rejection Clan hideout that things really started to get interesting.
With a device that casts a hologram of All For One, the villain taunts Deku with a sarcastic quip about his interaction with Lady Nagant. And just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse, All For One declares that he no longer cares about All Might and is coming after Deku.
But it wasn’t all doom and gloom. The Heroes’ meeting at the warehouse was an absolute treat. We got to see Endeavor, Hawks, Best Jeanist, Edgeshot, and the Lurkers in all their glory, discussing Lady Nagant’s condition and debating whether or not to reveal One For All’s secret.
Meanwhile, Deku declines All Might’s request to pause for meals and opts to go it alone, insisting that he can move at 100% without harm. All Might understands that Deku wants to protect him, but that doesn’t make it any less emotional. And just when we thought we couldn’t handle any more feels, Deku is ambushed by the villain Dictator and is forced to surrender when he is unable to defend himself against civilians that have been put under Dictator’s control with his Quirk.
But fear not, because Bakugo swoops in to save the day! His arrival was a total surprise and a much-needed breath of fresh air. And let’s not forget about the Class 1-A’s epic decision to fight Dictator and take Deku with them. It was a heartwarming moment that reminded us that no matter what, Deku’s friends will always have his back.
All in all, My Hero Academia season 6 episode 22 was a total emotional roller coaster that left us feeling all the feels. We can’t wait to see what happens next!
